Why we built this
Search "Father's Day gifts Canada" and you get listicles written for an American audience with Canadian prices bolted on, or generic roundups from sites that cover everything from weddings to office parties. Nobody was building something specifically for Canadian dads, organized around who he actually is — new dad, stepdad, grandpa, the dad who wants nothing — not just the calendar date.
We also built a real Christian and Catholic gift section, because that corner of the internet is either an afterthought bolted onto a generic gift site, or so cheesy it's not something you'd actually hand a grown man.
How we pick what goes on a guide
- It has to be something we'd actually buy — not the highest-commission product, not whatever an algorithm surfaced first.
- We write real reasoning for every pick — why it fits, who it's for, what to expect on price — not a copy-pasted product description.
- We flag when something is genuinely available and priced reasonably for a Canadian buyer, not just American listings with a currency-converted price tag.
How this site makes money
