Most fatherhood support in this country is real but invisible. It sits inside family agencies, health units and small charities that do not rank on Google, so a father looking for it at eleven at night finds nothing and concludes there is nothing. This directory exists to be the page he actually finds.
It starts national, because those services work no matter where you live. Local listings follow, province by province, as we verify them. We would rather list eleven things we have checked than four hundred we have not.

Every entry carries the date its details were last checked against the provider's own website. Where we could not confirm something — a cost, a language, a location — we leave it out rather than guess, because a wrong detail on a support listing is worse than a missing one.

- Yes. Movember's Family Man is free, runs online in short interactive animated episodes aimed at fathers of children roughly two to eight, and is available in English and French.
- What support exists for separated or divorced dads?
- The Canadian Centre for Men and Families runs fathering groups and legal clinics aimed specifically at men going through separation and divorce. Provincially, programs like Fatherhood Matters in Nova Scotia cover co-parenting skills. Dialling 2-1-1 will surface what exists in your own area.
- Are these services free?
- The crisis lines, 211, Kids Help Phone and Movember's Family Man are free. Counselling and in-person programs vary, and we label those as cost varies rather than guess. Ask the provider directly, and ask about sliding scale if cost is the barrier.

- Every listing shows the date its details were last checked against the provider's own site. We list only what we could verify, and leave details out rather than guess at them. If you find something wrong, tell us and we will fix or remove it.
