OurFather

The founding brotherhood: the first 50, by application.

The founding brotherhood is OurFather's first cohort — capped at 50 men, an annual commitment, joined by application rather than open checkout, at the founding rate of $490/yr. It exists so the culture is set by the first fifty men, not diluted by rapid growth.

Why founding, and why capped

A brotherhood that grows too fast stops being one — it becomes a content feed with a membership fee. Capping the founding cohort at 50 keeps every pod match deliberate and every man known. It also means the standard is set early, by the men willing to join something unproven rather than a polished, de-risked product.

What's different about founding membership

  • By application, not checkout. A six-question intake and, for most applicants, a short intake call — see what happens after you apply.
  • Annual, not month-to-month. Accountability doesn't work as a trial subscription.
  • The founding rate. $490/yr — the Brotherhood tier's annual price, held for founding members.
  • A path to mentoring. Six months in, founding members are invited to help mentor the pods that come after them.

Who this is for

Fathers, husbands, and men leading a business or team who want structure now, not once the community is a polished, proven product — and who'll actually show up weekly for men they haven't met yet.

Frequently asked questions

Why cap the founding cohort at 50?
Small enough that every man is known and the culture is set by the first fifty — not diluted by the next five thousand. Fifty is the number where every pod match can still be deliberate, not automated.
What happens after the founding cohort is full?
Standard monthly membership opens for self-serve signup. Founding members keep the terms they joined under; they don't get displaced or renegotiated.
Do founding members become mentors?
Members six months or more in are invited to help mentor new pods as later cohorts open — that's how the brotherhood compounds instead of just growing.
What if I'm not accepted?
Not every applicant is a fit, and we'll tell you honestly rather than string you along. The free Weekly Mission Review stays available either way, and you're welcome to reapply once standard membership opens.
