OurFather

How OurFather actually works.

OurFather runs on three parts: a small pod of 3-4 men who read your weekly check-in, a set of frameworks you run on a fixed cadence, and mentorship from men further along. You apply, get matched to a pod, run the Weekly Mission Review, and check in every week — the structure holds you to it.

The three moving parts

1. The pod — your weekly accountability unit

Matched on intake, 3-4 men at a similar stage. Every week you submit a structured check-in — what you committed to, and whether you kept it — and your pod responds within 48 hours. Not a chat thread. A report, with a yes-or-no on the line.

2. The frameworks — what you actually run

The Weekly Mission Review is the anchor: 15 minutes every Sunday. Around it sit the morning routine, the personal mission statement, the quarterly reset, and legacy planning — see the full framework library.

3. Mentorship — men further along

Older fathers and operators join the monthly group call, and the Father tier adds a quarterly 1:1. It's structured, not charismatic — a man tracking your mission, not your feelings. See how mentorship works in detail.

After the first 30 days

The weekly cadence just continues — check-in, pod response, monthly call — with a quarterly mission reset to zoom out and recheck the frameworks against what actually matters. Six months in, most men stop being the newest member of their pod and start being the one asking the new guy why he missed a week. That shift is the whole retention mechanic: the brotherhood compounds, it doesn't plateau.

Frequently asked questions

Do I choose my own pod, or is it assigned?
It's matched on intake, based on your stage of life and what you're leading — not self-selected. That's deliberate: a pod you hand-pick tends to be men who'll go easy on you.
What if my pod isn't a good fit?
Tell us. Pod fit is checked early, and a mismatch gets corrected — the structure only works if the men in it will actually hold you to your word.
How much time does this take per week?
30-45 minutes: the Sunday review (15 min) and the weekly check-in (15 min). Leader and Father tiers add a biweekly or weekly call on top.
Is this therapy or coaching?
No. It's structured accountability, frameworks, and peer/mentor community — not therapy, counselling, or intensive 1:1 coaching. If you need that kind of support, we'll say so and point you elsewhere rather than pretend to provide it.
